Amrize is seeking a Plant Controls Engineer in our North America operations. You will work with the Plant Engineer to develop capital and expense project business cases, monitor control systems for asphalt manufacturing, and calibrate equipment to ensure safe, efficient production.

The role emphasizes process improvements, scale-up of older processes, and strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies across all operations.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of experience in a continuous manufacturing plant.
• Demonstrated knowledge of controls and their impact on the equipment.
• Experience working with design software.
• Understanding of process control systems and maintenance techniques.
• Must adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsabilités

• Develops, designs, performs cost estimation, justification, and prepares business cases for capital and expense projects.
• Evaluate, implement, and monitor processes and operating systems for the manufacture of asphalt products, including supporting or leading trials.
• Equipment calibration and maintenance monitoring.
• Support the conversion of older-scale processes into commercially viable large-scale operations.
• Monitor and improve efficiency, output, and safety of manufacturing processes through data collection and interpretation.
• Promote a culture of safety and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
