Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Process Engineer II to drive operational improvements at the Theodore Cement Plant in Alabama. You will develop automation for process control, analyze plant operations, and prepare reports on efficiency and failures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Field of Study: Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-7 years of work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operations of the Plant and perform cost/benefit analyses.
• Develop process control automation and computer applications for process control.
• Prepare computer reports on operating efficiencies and failures.
• Conduct tests on plant systems to determine equipment efficiency.
• Assist management in ensuring environmental and quality compliance.
• Train shift supervisors for SAP reporting and TIS.
• Lead New System Implementations (e.g., TIS).
• Perform ISO audits and Month End activity reporting.
• Collaborate with suppliers and plant staff to ensure smooth operation.
