Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Plant Controls Engineer to lead automation and control system improvements across manufacturing operations. You will develop PLC and HMI solutions, review electrical systems, and support production efficiency with robust maintenance practices.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of programming and engineering experience in plant environments, with strong collaboration across teams.

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
• 5+ years of programming experience.
• Must interact with managers, employees, vendors, and customers.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate and review operational performance of production equipment and develop solutions to improve productivity.
• Develop automation and control system solutions (PLC & HMI) including vision systems and robotic work cells.
• Review plant electrical systems and propose value-added upgrades.
• Support Operations to maintain quality by monitoring and adjusting processes.
• Read drawings and determine layout of electrical equipment installations.
• Develop and submit capital & expense projects to support plant operations.
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring and components.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment to resolve issues.
• Maintain and test switchgear, transformers, and motors.
• Troubleshoot control systems and preventive maintenance; keep records.
