Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks a skilled Controls Engineer to support production lines and repackaging operations, focusing on PLC programming, process improvement, and automation support on a manufacturing floor in Jacksonville, FL.

The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of controls experience, proficiency in Ladder Logic, Allen-Bradley, Siemens Step 7, and Wonderware HMI, plus strong documentation and communication skills to drive ongoing automation projects and standards for UK

Responsibilities

Provide controls engineering support for legacy equipment and repackaging areas.
Assist with process conversion and rework inspection workflows for UK packaging.
Participate in a 3-4 month training program to become proficient with equipment and systems.
Support ongoing automation projects.
Work with PLC systems, including Allen-Bradley Ladder Logic and Siemens Step 7.
Support Wonderware HMI, servo drives/motors, and APT-Siemens-based systems.
Modify and develop control code to enhance machine functionality and performance.
