Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Controller to oversee the entire accounting operation, including financial reporting and budgeting, in a manufacturing context. The role includes managing the accounting staff, payroll administration, and ensuring accurate journal entries.

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree focused on accounting/finance.
• Five to ten years managing a financial/accounting department.
• Three years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• CPA and industry experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, including financial reporting and budgeting.
• Manage and evaluate accounting staff including payroll administrator.
• Review journal entries and financial statements; prepare special reports.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable and oversee collections.
