Job summary

Pratt Industries in Rockwall, TX is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead reporting efforts, manage month-end close, inventory analysis, and cost tracking across materials and energy. This role partners with the Controller and management to drive accuracy and KPI reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 5+ years in manufacturing, strong Excel skills, and experience with SAP or equivalent ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reporting and support month-end close.
• Manage inventory reporting: Roll Stock, cycle counts, and cost analysis.
• Analyze revenues, repair & maintenance costs, energy, and overhead allocations.
• Coordinate with Controller on budgeting, KPI development, and ad hoc projects.
• Ensure internal controls and accuracy in SAP postings and reconciliations.
• Perform heavy Excel-based analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
