Job summary

Pratt Industries USA is seeking an Assistant Plant Controller in Lathrop, CA. The role focuses on timely reporting for the plant, including inventory, AP/AR, P&L analysis, and balance sheet reviews. You will assist in weekly forecasts, mid-month estimates, and month-end close, with exposure to multiple business areas.

The position requires a Bachelor in Accounting with 5+ years in manufacturing, strong Excel and SAP experience, and solid communication skills. Safety and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong general ledger, accounts payable and payroll knowledge.
• Experience with SAP and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Roll Stock reporting: consumption, receipts, on hand and aged inventory.
• Revenue analysis, customer mix and reconcile revenues to SAP.
• Physical Inventories and cycle counts (Roll Stock, Finished Goods, Fixed Assets and Spare Parts).
• Process accounts payable, expense reports and review of EDI shipments.
• Assist in preparation of forecasts.
• Month-end closing and financial reporting: analyze prime materials and converting costs; prepare POs and FI before AP cut-off; energy and overhead accruals; ME closing for Roll Stock.
