Job summary

Maker's Pride in Ohio seeks a Plant Controller to lead the facility's financial performance, owning the full P&L, partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Plant Leadership to drive labor productivity, material yield, and working capital. The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing finance, plus strong modeling and business partnering skills.

You will lead monthly closes, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives, while spending significant time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive finance experience within manufacturing, consumer products, industrial, or supply chain.
• Experience supporting Manufacturing, Engineering, or Operations functions.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, business partnering and cost management.
• Financial modeling and data analytics capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant P&L ownership and provide actionable financial insights.
• Drive monthly financial reviews, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Partner with Operations to translate metrics into financial outcomes.
• Drive labor productivity, material yield, overhead, and working capital performance.
• Maintain inventory control and working capital management.
