ProAmpac is hiring a Plant Controller to lead the financial heartbeat of the Middletown plant. This role blends hands-on accounting, costing, controls, and reporting with close partnership to Operations to lift performance.

The successful candidate will own monthly close, cost accuracy, and inventory controls, while driving Lean improvements and system transitions from Visual to D365. Strong plant-floor presence required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s (or Master’s) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Plant Controller or senior manufacturing finance leader.
• Deep expertise in cost accounting within a process manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP in manufacturing.
• Experience inside an ERP environment (Visual, SAP, Oracle, Epicor, D365, etc.).
• Advanced analytical skills; able to pull data from SQL and build models in Excel.
• Ability to operate at strategic and transactional levels.
• Strong plant-floor presence and ability to influence outcomes.

Aufgaben

• Lead all plant accounting activities in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Own monthly close, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination.
• Ensure costing integrity across systems, transactions, and SKUs.
• Investigate and explain actual vs. standard variances with precision.
• Lead cycle counting and physical inventories with operations alignment.
• Strengthen internal controls across inventory and manufacturing.
• Analyze cost of goods, run costing studies, identify margin opportunities.
• Pull and analyze data from SQL and ERP systems to improve visibility and decision-making.
