Job summary

Lone Star Paving seeks a Plant C Operator to join our Texas operations. You will work with plant, maintenance, and management teams to ensure smooth production, minimize downtime, and optimize throughput. The role focuses on asphalt processing, loading, shipping, and maintaining safe plant operations.

The ideal candidate has experience with asphalt processes, understands plant standards, and is committed to safety and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial settings, preferably asphalt.
• Ability to operate and understand plant equipment safely.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Train in facility processes and SOPs.
• Load/unload tank trucks carrying liquid asphalt.
• Gauge storage tanks and climb to 40 feet when needed.
• Record data with an iPad and perform rounds.
• Operate a sit-down forklift and assist with shipping.
• Participate in safety meetings and trainings.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report hazards.
