Job summary

Lone Star Paving is seeking a Plant C Operator to support asphalt production, loading, and quality control across our Texas sites. You will work closely with Plant, Maintenance, and Management to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

The ideal candidate has experience with asphalt processing, loading, and safety compliance, and can operate forklifts and manual tools in a fast-paced environment. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Industrial experience in an asphalt or similar plant setting.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb to high heights.
• Proficient with equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Train in facility processes and SOPs.
• Load and unload tank trucks carrying liquid asphalt.
• Gauge and monitor above-ground storage tanks.
• Record data using an iPad during rounds.
• Operate a sit-down forklift and unload containers.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Collaborate with management to address production issues.
• Maintain a neat, safe work area at day end.
