Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Plant Operator to oversee daily asphalt plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient production and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring plant controls, coordinating with loaders and drivers, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining production records; 2–3 years related experience and HS diploma/GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow production specifications.
• Collaborative team member with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant controls to regulate asphalt production.
• Ensure production meets quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational or mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with loader operators, truck drivers, and QC personnel to meet schedules.
• Enforce all safety, environmental, and company regulations.
• Assist with plant housekeeping and upkeep.
