Job summary

Lone Star Paving in Central Texas is seeking an Asphalt Heavy Equipment Paver Operator to join our asphalt crew. You will work with the foreman and operate the paver machine across heavy highway and civil projects, with a focus on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in asphalt, 1–2 years operating paving equipment, and a detail‑oriented, team‑minded attitude. This full‑time, outdoors role requires overtime, occasional travel across Texas, and strict adherence to safety

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in the asphalt industry.
• 1-2 years' experience operating paving equipment.
• Must be organized with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Must be positive, friendly, and professional.
• Ability to work well with others and promote safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Paver Machine with the crew foreman.
• Inspect equipment daily and report issues.
• Maintain safety and awareness on site.
• Assist with general labor tasks including patching and prep.
• Shovel, rake, and handle tools as directed.
• Clean and organize equipment at shift end.
