Job summary

Lone Star Paving in Texas is seeking an Asphalt Heavy Equipment Paver Operator to join our crew and support on-site paving operations. The role centers on operating the Paver Machine and assisting foremen in day-to-day asphalt activities.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in the asphalt industry, 1–2 years operating paving equipment, and a teamwork mindset. Overtime, outdoor work, and safety compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience within the asphalt industry.
• 1-2 years of operating paving equipment.
• Must be organized with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Must be positive, friendly, and professional.
• Ability to work well with others in a group or one-on-one setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Paver Machine as part of the asphalt crew.
• Inspect equipment before use and ensure good working order.
• Maintain safety practices and be aware of others on site.
• Assist with general labor, patching, and prep work as needed.
• Shovel, rake, and handle tools to support the crew.
• Clean and organize equipment at shift end as required.
