Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a plant administrator in the Atlanta area to support Purchasing, Logistics and Local Accounting. The role emphasizes raw material inventory control and Accounts Payable processing to help maximize profitability while following operating policies.

You will collaborate with the Plant Manager, coordinate monthly closes with the Division Finance Department, and manage SAP/ Basware workflows while overseeing warehouse operations and MRO procurement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or management.
• Experience with SAP and Basware financial processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct support to Plant Manager.
• Performs the accounting function for plant level: AP, accruals, inventory management and cut-off processes.
• Coordinate timely monthly closing with the Division Finance Department.
• Monitor and review daily invoicing and BOL documentation.
• Ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies and procedures.
• Maintain cost accounting and inventory valuation per GAAP.
• Comply with SAP procedures and controls.
• Oversee warehouse and shipping department.
• Purchase and maintain inventory levels of all incoming raw materials for production.
• Purchase and maintain inventory levels of resin for the plant.
• Forecast resin recap reports for Corporate.
• Order and maintain railcars in/out.
• Create purchase requisitions for maintenance.
• Create plant purchase orders for all MRO orders.
