Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Plant Controller to lead the plant accounting function and deliver timely financial information to management. This role reports to plant leadership and provides high-visibility financial insights to guide the plant’s future.

The successful candidate will manage monthly closes, budgets, forecasts, and cost analyses, ensure SOX compliance, and partner with Plant Managers to drive profitability and cost discipline across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of increasing responsibilities.
• Power user of SAP (or major ERP system) and Microsoft Excel.
• Extensive manufacturing experience and cost accounting experience.
• Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct plant accounting to provide financial reports.
• Manage monthly closing and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze overhead, cost of sales and manufacturing costs vs budgets.
• Coordinate physical inventories and asset accounting.
• Review capital expenditure requests and projects.
• Ensure production processes align with financial information.
• Maintain SOX compliance and safety procedures.
• Provide timely financial analysis with Plant Managers.
