Job summary

GOTAFE in Toledo, OH is seeking an entry-level Accounting Analyst to support accounting records and US GAAP compliance. You will prepare journal entries and reconciliations, analyze financial reports, and contribute to Shared Services projects and plant inventory accounting.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a BS program in Accounting, Finance, or related business field.
• Must be a sophomore by Summer 2027.
• Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports for accuracy and US GAAP conformance.
• Prepare journal entries and perform financial statement reconciliations.
• Recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
• Participate in Shared Services projects, manage inventories in Plant Accounting, and contribute to process improvements.
• Perform other duties to support the business.
