GOTAFE in Toledo, OH is seeking an entry-level Accounting Analyst to support accounting records and US GAAP compliance. You will prepare journal entries and reconciliations, analyze financial reports, and contribute to Shared Services projects and plant inventory accounting.

Formación

• Enrollment in a BS program in Accounting, Finance, or related business field.
• Must be a sophomore by Summer 2027.
• Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States.

• Perform other duties to support the business.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to US GAAP.
• Prepare journal entries and perform financial statement reconciliations.
• Recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
• Participate in project work in the Shared Services area, manage inventories in the Plant Accounting areas, and contribute to overall process improvement.
• Perform various other duties as needed to support the business.

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in Accounting, Finance, or other Business-related field.
• Completion of at least sophomore year of study by summer 2027.
• Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States.
