Job summary

Raytheon Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) seeks a Systems Test Engineer II to join a development team delivering a complex system of systems in Plano, TX. This onsite role requires active DoD Top Secret clearance.

The role involves operating radar test equipment, collaborating with engineers, and supporting integration, verification, and validation activities to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of system integration experience.
• Flexibility to work 1st and 2nd shift to meet program requirements.
• Active and transferable DoD Top Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Operate radar test equipment and assist in system test execution ensuring the system meets specifications.
• Work closely with the team and leadership.
• Communicate daily with the test team and other engineers.
• Maintain a systems-level perspective while supporting integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Analyze system problems and communicate issues to the engineering team.
