Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Test Engineer II for an onsite role in Plano, TX. You will join a development team delivering a complex system of systems, operating radar test equipment, and coordinating with engineers and leadership to meet specifications.

The role requires a STEM bachelor's degree with 2+ years of system integration experience and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Flexibility for 1st/2nd shifts is needed to support program goals.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM and minimum 2 years of relevant experience with system integration and troubleshooting.
• Flexibility to work 1st and 2nd shift to meet program requirements.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate radar test equipment and assist in system test execution ensuring the system meets specifications.
• Work closely with the team and leadership.
• Communicate daily with the test team as well as other engineers associated with test.
• Maintain a systems‑level perspective while supporting integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Analyze system problems and communicate issues to the engineering team.
