Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Systems Engineer for the SE&T Capabilities division to perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing on our advanced defense systems. The role requires a STEM bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience, plus active DoD Secret clearance and eligibility for interim clearance.

On-site work only with travel up to 20%. You'll create test plans, analyze data, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM (Electrical/Systems/Physics/Math) with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Hardware systems integration and platform integration/flight test experience required.
• Experience evaluating requirements and troubleshooting/failure analysis.
• Experience with verification and validation methods.
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams to meet program needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing per specs.
• Collect and analyze data, providing detailed reports of results.
• Trace and correct faults in mechanical or electronic systems; familiarity with failure reporting and corrective action.
• Create/modify Test Plans, Procedures, and Test Readiness Reviews for formal testing.
• Travel up to 20% may be required.
