Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. in Mount Vernon, Indiana is seeking a Planning/Scheduling Manager to lead forecasting and scheduling for our production pipelines.

You will oversee the Planning and Scheduling department, align activities with customer contracts, and coach planners to optimize resources and meet delivery commitments. The role requires a bachelor’s or technical degree, 5–7 years of supervisory experience, proficiency with Primavera P6, and the ability to obtain a DOE clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires planning and scheduling experience.
• Experience with DOE clearance is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate a facility-wide planning and scheduling program.
• Supervise Planners and Schedulers and their projects.
• Lead multi-discipline meetings and resolve conflicting inputs to meet schedules.
• Ensure on-time execution of tasks and proper status reporting.
• Coordinate requisitioning, expediting, and inventory planning.
• Prepare detailed reports and monitor budget alignment.
