Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical or business discipline.
• 20 years of progressively responsible experience preferred across PM, manufacturing, quality, and contracts.
• At least 5 years of direct program management for complex programs; DOE clearance possible.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate continuous production programs.
• Lead the Program Management Team and collaborate with functional organizations to maximize profitability and delivery targets.
• Interface with Corporate Contracts to review new work scopes and ensure bid/contract alignment.
• Assist in proposal efforts to meet customer needs, review proposals, and approve applicable ones.
• Coordinate changes to proposals as negotiated in contracts and ensure distribution to all stakeholders.
• Review proposals and contract specs to understand all requirements and terms.
• Prepare a project plan for efficient contract execution, controlling costs, schedules, quality and documentation.
• Assess contract costs and process improvements and work with PMs and functions to balance performance with financial goals.
• Institute corrective actions and monitor progress with cost, schedule and documentation.
• Conduct meetings with company and customer management and represent BWXT at customer meetings.
