Job summary

BWXT is seeking a Planning Scheduling Manager at our Mount Vernon, Indiana facility. You will forecast and plan production, manage the Planning and Scheduling department, and align with customer contracts and industry standards.

You will supervise Planners and Schedulers, lead cross-functional meetings, and drive on-time delivery while optimizing resources and costs. A DOE clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of supervisory experience (or technical degree with 7+ years).
• Planning and scheduling experience required.
• Primavera P6 experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple priorities across departments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to obtain DOE clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate a facility-wide planning and scheduling program to maximize resource utilization and meet deliveries.
• Supervise Planners, Schedulers and assigned projects.
• Lead multi-discipline meetings and make decisions with diverse data and opinions.
• Ensure execution of tasks, priorities, and assignments to meet the schedule.
• Maintain status reporting and documentation controls.
• Liaise with management and other departments to plan and schedule.
