Job summary

Timex Group USA in Shelton, CT is seeking a data planning professional to assess reporting, streamline data flows, and implement automated solutions across planning routines. The role focuses on improving transparency, data accuracy, and decision-making frameworks within a hybrid on-site environment.

You will partner with IT and Projects to design automation using PowerBI, Advanced Excel, and AI, and become the SME supporting Demand Planners with new tools and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, planning, data science or project management roles.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• APICS (CPIM, CSCP, or CPF), Lean Six Sigma, or Project Management certification is a plus.
• Technical proficiency: Advanced Excel (macros), SQL, Python; applying AI to automate.

Responsibilities

• Assess current reporting & data flows, remove non-value added work, streamline data structure for transparency and decision-making.
• Identify process gaps & inefficiencies in planning routines; design and execute automation using PowerBI, Advanced Excel, AI in collaboration with IT and Projects.
• Become subject matter expert; provide technical support to Demand Planners and train them to use new tools.
