Job summary

Timken is seeking a Finance Transformation Specialist to advance the global Finance organization’s transformation strategy. You will connect finance processes, data, systems, and technology, partnering with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics, automation, and technology-enabled solutions that improve decision-making and governance.

Qualifications

Experience with ERP, financial consolidation, planning, reporting, or finance systems such as SAP, OneStream, Blackline.
Ability to translate business needs into clear data, analytics, reporting and automation requirements.
Experience leading cross-functional workstreams with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills; continuous improvement mindset.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IS, Data Analytics, CS; MBA preferred.
7–10 years in finance processes, reporting, analytics, or transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and digital transformation in finance.
Lead project workstreams; manage scope, timelines, risks, and communications.
Define finance data requirements and reporting structures for planning and analytics.
Collaborate with IT and data teams to deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
Promote knowledge sharing and adoption of new technologies across the Finance organization.
