Job summary

Timex Group is seeking a Demand Planning professional to reduce manual work and build scalable planning capabilities. You will lead automation projects, partner with IT and Finance, and drive data-driven decision-making across S&OP, OTB and forecast accuracy.

You will train Demand Planners, implement new tools, and champion governance, change management, and data visibility. This role blends analytics with strategic planning in a hybrid Shelton, CT setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA/ Master degree a plus.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, planning, data science or project management roles.
• Experience with planning tools and data analytics to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Performs thorough analysis of existing process, data sources, information – develops technical solutions to improve efficiency.
• Learns business needs behind reporting/planning tools and explores automation opportunities.
• Demonstrates judgement in selecting methods and techniques for solutions.
• Computes metrics and KPIs; monitors performance.
• Networks with senior internal and external personnel; collaborates cross-functionally.
• Resolves complex technical issues and provides on-demand support.
• Recommends process improvements and drives change with leadership.
• Drives seamless communication between planning teams and automates information flow.
• Ensures governance, documentation and training within Planning Organization.
• Manages adoption risks and aligns with Business Planning and OTB needs.
• Represent Planning in transformation workshops and governance reviews.
