Amentum is seeking Aircraft Workers to support U.S. Navy maintenance operations. Plane Captains will assist pilots with aircraft movement, perform maintenance inspections, and document services.

The role may involve outdoor work, varying shifts, and travel for detachments ashore and afloat. Candidates should have at least two years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of actual and recent organizational level aircraft maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical publications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements and pass medical exams as required.

Responsabilités

• Direct incoming/outgoing aircraft on ground using hand or light signals and secure with chocks and tie-downs.
• Perform pre-flight through post-flight maintenance inspections and document servicing in maintenance records.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist in towing aircraft and cleaning aircraft interiors/exteriors.
