Job summary

Jobot is partnering with a growing plaintiff-side litigation practice in Los Angeles County to lead its Lemon Law and consumer warranty team. The role involves independently managing cases from intake to resolution and supporting the creation of a dedicated department with leadership opportunities.

The successful attorney will handle drafting, negotiations, and client communications, while enjoying hybrid or remote work options and a path toward leadership in a new practice area.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active California license to practice law.
• 3+ years in Lemon Law or consumer warranty litigation.
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and writing skills.
• Ability to manage a large caseload with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage plaintiff-side warranty and consumer protection cases from intake to resolution.
• Evaluate claims, conduct consultations, and provide sound legal guidance.
• Draft litigation documents including complaints, discovery, law and motion, and settlement demands.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings.
• Build and maintain strong client communication throughout the legal process.

• Independently manage plaintiff-side warranty and consumer protection cases from intake to resolution
• Evaluate claims, conduct consultations, and provide sound legal guidance
• Draft litigation documents including complaints, discovery, law and motion, and settlement demands
• Negotiate favorable settlements and represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings when necessary
• Build and maintain strong client communication throughout the legal process

Requirements & Qualifications

• J.D. and active license to practice law in California
• 3+ years of litigation experience within Lemon Law or consumer warranty cases
• Additional background in plaintiff personal injury litigation is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to handle a large caseload and work with minimal supervision
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and writing skills
• Client-first mindset with excellent communication skills
