Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Warehouse Associate in San Antonio to operate forklifts and order pickers, scan items accurately, and load/unload trailers. You will support inbound receiving and maintain a clean, safe workspace in line with our 7S program.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, teamwork, and reliable communication with leadership and peers. A flexible schedule with possible overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have team collaboration and effective communication skills.
• Powered industrial lift truck certification or training.
• Ability to operate handheld scanner with high accuracy.
• Experience with inbound receiving and order picking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and order pickers to move products and materials.
• Use handheld scanner for accurate data entry.
• Load and unload trailers as required.
• Maintain clean workspace per 7S program and quality standards.
• Demonstrate commitment to process excellence and company quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.
• Work assigned shifts including various weekend schedules.

Job description

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks (forklifts) and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy
• Load and unload trailers as required
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment
• Demonstrate commitment to process excellence
• Demonstrate understanding of the company quality policy
• Perform inbound receiving process
• Work assigned multiple shifts, including Monday-Friday, Sunday-Wednesday, Sunday-Tuesday, or Friday-Sunday schedules

Requirements

• 1 year of warehouse experience
• Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to communicate well with leadership and peers
• May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer
