Job summary

Jim 'N' Nick's Community Bar-B-Q in Hendersonville, TN is seeking a dedicated pitmaster to own the pit and meat operation, cut and portion to spec, and uphold the quality of every pound that leaves the station. This hands-on role requires focus, stamina, and pride in the craft.

You'll manage inventory and waste in the pit area, follow procedures to the letter, and insist on safety and sanitation as the brand standard. You’ll grow with real advancement from the pit to kitchen management.

Qualifications

• Experience in pit operations and meat preparation is desired.

Responsibilities

• Own the pit and meat operation: run smokers with skill and consistency, cut and portion to spec, and monitor quality of every pound of smoked meat.
• Manage inventory and food waste in the pit and meat area.
• Follow processes and procedures to the letter.
• Hold the line on safety and sanitation to protect the brand.
