Job summary

Grand River Casino is seeking a Pit Boss to monitor table games and ensure service standards while upholding game integrity and accountability.

You will supervise dealers and games in the pit, verify table banks and cards, handle take-and-pay procedures, complete required records, and ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations and internal controls. 21+ and Standing Rock license eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Key license.
• Must have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind.
• Six months experience dealing table games preferred. Must be proficient at mathematics.

Responsibilities

• The Pit Boss verifies table/poker bank and also verifies playing cards before shift, and after shift, guaranteeing accountability.
• He/she supervises dealers and games in assigned pit area to ensure they are conducted in accordance with company policies, including sale of chips and take and pay functions.
• The Pit Boss performs credit/fill procedures when needed at the end of shift and also assists in maintaining necessary records and paperwork pertaining to the activities of the operation such as: checking table status hourly and completing customer tracking forms for Players Club.
• He/she handles any problems that arise with customers and performs any other duties assigned by the Shift Manager and/or Gaming Manager.
• Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
