Job summary

Grand River Casino in Mobridge, SD is seeking a Pit Boss to monitor table games, ensure accuracy, and deliver high-quality service to players.

The role requires standing for long periods, math proficiency, and eligibility for Tribal Key license; full-time hours with hourly pay between $15.11 and $18.40, plus compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must qualify for Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Key license.
• Must have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind.

Responsibilities

• The Pit Boss verifies table/poker bank and also verifies playing cards before shift, and after shift, guaranteeing accountability.
• He/she supervises dealers and games in assigned pit area to ensure they are conducted in accordance with company policies, including sale of chips and take and pay functions.
• The Pit Boss performs credit/fill procedures when needed at the end of shift and also assists in maintaining necessary records and paperwork pertaining to the activities of the operation such as: checking table status hourly and completing customer tracking forms for Players Club.
• He/she handles any problems that arise with customers and performs any other duties assigned by the Shift Manager and/or Gaming Manager.
• Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.

SUMMARY:

Monitors table games to ensure accordance with company standards, while ensuring customers receive the best possible service.

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE

• Six months experience dealing table games preferred.
• Must be proficient at mathematics.

PHYSICAL

• Must be physically able to withstand continued standing for periods of 8 hours or more.
