Job summary

Environmental Air Systems is seeking a Piping Superintendent to lead a team of piping crews on industrial construction projects. You will ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver piping works on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in industrial piping construction
• 3–5 years in a supervisory role
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or water treatment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and piping specs

Responsibilities

• Supervise piping crews and ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Schedule and allocate labor resources to ensure adequate manpower.
• Mentor, train, and evaluate piping personnel.
• Ensure work meets design specs, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other superintendents to align with timelines.
• Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications for piping systems.
• Monitor progress of piping installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Assist in procurement of materials and equipment for piping installations.
• Enforce safety policies and conduct safety audits on site.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, progress, safety inspections, and hours.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot piping design/construction issues.
• Document and communicate any design/scope changes to stakeholders.
