Standard Constructors, Inc. in Indiana seeks a Piping Superintendent to lead field operations for large-scale heavy civil industrial projects.

You will oversee on-site execution, manage piping installations, and supervise crews to meet project blueprints, ASME codes, and aggressive schedules. The role emphasizes safety leadership, coordination with supervision, and active participation in start/close meetings.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years’ experience in a dedicated supervisory or superintendent role.
Minimum 15 years’ progressive piping construction experience.
Experience with duplex piping installation.
Experience with executing successful hydrotesting activities in an industrial setting.
Must be able to travel nationally.
OSHA 30-Hour certification.

Responsibilities

Ensure a safe workplace by partnering with the safety department and project management to support policies, procedures, and practices for establishing a safe workplace.
Develop construction project plan and schedule with project team; coordinate with estimating and management to put that plan on paper with dates, manpower and equipment.
Monitor labor productivity, manage project costs, and coordinate subcontractor and self-perform work.
Recruit and retain foremen and craftsmen for appropriate project.
Oversee field productivity, cost control, quality control, and scheduling to meet updated construction schedules and budgets.
