Job summary

Atlantic Constructors Inc. seeks an Assistant Superintendent - Commercial Construction to supervise on-site piping crews under the Piping Superintendent.

You will manage jobsite logistics, safety compliance, and direct hands‑on piping tasks across hydronic, chilled water, heating, gas and steam systems. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of field piping experience, strong coordination skills, and proficiency with drawings and project documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial field pipe fitting experience.
• Strong knowledge of hydronic, chilled water, heating, gas and steam piping systems.
• Ability to coordinate and supervise field crews under piping superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision and coordination of piping crews.
• Promote and monitor safety on site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen and general contractor to maintain progress.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate on-site functions.
• Assist with material take-offs and ordering to maximize productivity.
• Ensure quality installation of piping systems.
• Track deliveries and manage on-site logistics.
• Communicate labor needs based on project schedules.
• Support piping fabrication and prefabrication activities.
• Manage cleanup crew and jobsite organization.
• Monitor progress, compliance, productivity, and costs on site.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and regulations.
