Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. designs and optimizes facility piping systems and sizes mechanical components to support engineering analyses and safety reviews.

You will assist with procurement and vendor evaluations, factory acceptance tests, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting under senior staff guidance. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and at least two years of hands-on experience with piping, fluid systems, or process equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; 2+ years hands-on experience with piping, fluid systems, or process equipment.
• Practical equipment sizing experience, familiarity with calculations, pipe-stress concepts, codes and safety standards.
• Exposure to drafting or analysis tools; must obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.
