Bechtel is seeking a Project Field Engineer for the Rio Grande LNG project in Brownsville, TX. You will provide field engineering expertise, work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification, safety and quality control, and subcontract coordination to ensure safe, compliant, and complete field activities.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and 8–14 years of experience.

Qualifications

Requires bachelor's degree in engineering or science and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of Bechtel's Zero Accident Philosophy.
Knowledge of ES&H Handbook, Supervisors ES&H Manual and Project Safety Management Plan.
Knowledge of Six Sigma program tools and methodologies.
Experience supervising subcontractors and Direct Hire workforce.

Responsabilités

Prepares construction drawings and schedules; designs temporary facilities and ensures as-built drawings are produced.
Initiates field purchase requisitions and prepares quantity takeoffs for field materials and equipment.
Verifies commodities in quantity tracking systems and related databases.
Upholds zero accident philosophy and ensures safety of craft and equipment.
Develops understanding of system scope and reviews inspection/test plans; coordinates subcontractor submittals.
