Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead a team on the Rio Grande LNG project in Brownsville, Texas. You will supervise craft professionals, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on a multi-train LNG facility.

The role emphasizes leadership, planning, and problem-solving on heavy industrial construction with strict EH&S standards and Bechtel's Zero Accident Philosophy.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience or 9–12 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of Bechtel's safety standards and project ES&H guidelines.
• Experience on LNG/construction sites preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs craft activities and supervises up to 25 craft personnel.
• Plans workforce and coordinates area operational plans.
• Monitors tools, equipment, and material usage to ensure productivity.
• Ensures work complies with design documents, specs, and schedules.
• Interprets engineering and vendor documents with field teams.
• Coordinates engineering solutions with subcontractors and foremen.
