Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a project field engineer in Brownsville, TX to provide specialization in work planning, packaging, material management, and quality control for the Rio Grande LNG project. You will coordinate subcontractors, verify quantities, and ensure 안전 and project standards are met.

Responsibilities include developing package drawings, managing field purchases, and advancing system turnover with a focus on continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Required bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience or 9–12 years for direct hire.
• Knowledge of construction/engineering operations and safety programs.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and Direct Hire workforce.
• Familiarity with ES&H Handbook, Six Sigma tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares construction drawings and sketches; facilitates planning construction methods.
• Initiates requisitions for field purchases and material takeoffs.
• Verifies commodities in quantity tracking systems and databases.
• Ensures zero-accident philosophy; safety and quality standards are followed.
• Proactively pursues continuous learning and relevant training.
• Develops understanding of system scope and drawings for package development.
• Reviews and approves inspection test plans and subcontractor submittals.
