Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a skilled technician to inspect, maintain, repair, and install pumping and hydraulic equipment along pipeline segments, including pump stations and delivery facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, overhauls, and testing, read mechanical blueprints and P&ID drawings, and operate safety equipment. Strong PLC/Electrical knowledge and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent including 2-5 years of pipeline mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of PLCs, ladder logic, electrical control circuitry, and VFD circuitry.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints, vendor drawings, piping drawings, and P&ID drawings.
• Computer literate with basic skills in Windows, MS Word, and Internet use.
• Able to work alone and outdoors in extreme weather and perform heavy physical labor in a safe manner.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and install pumping and other mechanical and hydraulic equipment along segments of the pipeline system, at pump stations and delivery facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and overhauls of equipment including pumps, testing, and reconditioning.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and P&ID drawings.
• Operate safety equipment and ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Read, interpret, and work with vendor drawings and specification data sheets.
