Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a field technician to repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, and facilities. You will ensure safe daily operation, troubleshoot issues, and support regulatory compliance across gas and liquid systems.

Responsibilities include planning work with teams, maintaining records, and coordinating resources and outages. The role requires strong safety awareness, effective communication, and the ability to work independently in varied environments, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with safe driving record; USDOT may be required by law.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and exercise good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate compressor stations and pipeline facilities.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate work with crews to ensure safe, timely execution.
• Provide budget input, schedule outages, order materials, and track inventory.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals for assigned tasks.
• Maintain records and documentation required by procedures and regulators.
• Lead and train crews as needed and ensure safety program compliance.
