Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a skilled field technician to repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, and facilities, ensuring safe operation and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes hands-on field work, safety leadership, and coordinating with contractors and external partners to uphold high standards of reliability.

The position requires readiness for on-call rotation, adherence to safety practices, and the ability to work in demanding environments across industrial settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and operate pipelines, valves, pumps, and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform damage prevention activities including patrols, locating pipelines, and marking line crossings.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA regulatory requirements and complete related documentation.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks; coordinate with employees and contractors.
• Coordinate with landowners, public agencies, contractors, utilities, and other pipeline operators.
• Participate in safety programs and lead safety initiatives; provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
• Perform energy isolation lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and comply with safety policies.
