Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a pipeline technician to repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, and facilities, ensuring safe operation and regulatory compliance across gas and liquid pipelines.

You will inspect and operate equipment, coordinate with teams, perform safety tasks, and support on-call responsibilities. A valid driver’s license and strong communication, organization, and self-motivation are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and operate facilities including pipelines, valves, filters, pumps, gas compressors, storage tanks, and pump stations.
• Conduct Damage Prevention activities including pipeline patrols, locating and marking pipelines, and inspecting line crossings.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA) and complete related documentation.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize responsibilities; coordinate work with employees and contractors.
• Coordinate with landowners, public agencies, utilities, and other pipeline operators.
