Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking a skilled technician for repair and maintenance of pipelines, compressors, and related facilities. The role focuses on daily operations, safety, and regulatory compliance to ensure reliable throughput.

You will inspect and repair equipment, coordinate with teams, manage materials and records, and contribute to safety initiatives while supporting on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record and ability to be USDOT certified if required.
• Strong organization and communication skills, able to work independently.
• Demonstrated self-starter with good judgment and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate pipeline equipment at compressor/pump stations to meet throughput goals.
• Plan and coordinate work with crews and contractors to ensure safe, timely completion.
• Provide budget inputs, schedule outages, order materials, and track inventory.
• Interpret drawings, OEM manuals, and technical resources for assigned tasks.
• Use hand and power tools and equipment in hazardous and non-hazardous environments safely.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and clearances.
• Maintain records, logs, and regulatory documentation as required.
• Lead and train teams to maintain effective work crews and safety culture.
• Stay current with OSHA, DOT, EPA requirements and related documentation.
• Maintain facilities and grounds in a safe, orderly, efficient manner.
• Participate in safety programs and lead initiatives; provide on-call coverage as needed.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO) and related safety policies.
