WSP USA, Inc. is seeking a talented Pipeline Engineer to join our team in either Tampa, FL or Houston, TX. The role involves pipeline design, route evaluation, and site assessments in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

The position requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree and 1–2 years of long-distance pipeline or station piping design experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD/CADWorks and MS Excel is preferred, with travel up to 10% expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited institution.
• 1–2 years of pipeline design experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management.
• Strong interpersonal and a team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% per project demands.
• Ability to work independently with excellent oral and written communication.
• Commitment to health and safety for oneself and others.

Responsabilités

• Perform pipeline design calculations including hydraulic loss, pipe sizing, material selection and specifications.
• Prepare technical documents and specifications to ensure accurate and comprehensive project deliverables.
• Review and develop pipeline alignments and routes for constructability, environmental and geotechnical conditions, utility and other crossings.
• Perform calculations related to buried pipe design, external load analysis, and trenchless design methodologies.
• Develop engineering drawings packages pipeline alignment sheets for design efforts of oil, gas, slurry, tailings and other pipeline system projects.
• Perform engineering site visits with experienced engineers to review land features that influence pipeline route selection, constructability, environmental and geotechnical conditions, utility, and other crossings.
