Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Senior Field Supervisor to direct piping, plumbing, or sheet metal craft crews, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and cost‑efficiency standards on projects in Wisconsin. You will plan, direct and coordinate field labor, mentor supervisors, interpret policies, oversee safety programs and investigations, and ensure timely labor and cost reporting.

This role requires 5+ years in supervision, OSHA‑30, and relevant licenses; strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Completion of craft apprenticeship program or equivalent skill level and training.
• 5+ years in supervisory position.
• OSHA-30 certification within six months from date of hire.
• Active Texas Journeyman Plumber license may be required for field supervision.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate craft personnel for project construction and maintenance.
• Direct, mentor, and support supervisory personnel.
• Serve as senior technical advisor for start-up problems when needed.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, safety programs, and cost-efficiency.
• Participate in safety investigations and incident reviews.
• Develop and monitor quality control programs.
• Oversee scheduling, labor, and cost tracking reports.
• Assist in supervisory training and coordination with home office.
