Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Pipefitter for the Tempe JGMWTP Project in Tempe, Arizona. The role involves assembling, installing and replacing pipe systems and fixtures, with emphasis on safety and quality work on-site.

Responsibilities include installing piping for water, steam, air and other fluids, and handling materials used by plumbers and pipefitters. Candidates should have 3-5 years' verifiable experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable experience preferred.
• Experience working with piping systems and fixtures; knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for tools and machinery.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must pass safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
• Strong work ethic with willingness to learn.
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install piping and tubing systems for water, steam, air and other fluids.
• Install vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines from buildings to attachment points.
• Move materials and equipment for use by plumbers, pipefitters and steamfitters.
