Job summary

Walsh Group is seeking a Pipefitter for the Tempe JGMWTP Project in Tempe, Arizona. The role involves assembling, installing, and replacing pipe systems and fixtures, including metal, plastic, ceramic, and composite materials.

You will work across the Tempe project site and potentially other locations as needed, contributing to major infrastructure work. Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of verifiable piping experience, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable experience preferred.
• Experience working with piping systems and fixtures; knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for tools and machinery.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in buildings and structures.
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment.
• Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters.
