Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is hiring a Pipefitter for the Marana WRF Phase II project in Tucson, Arizona. The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related components, handling metal, plastic, ceramic, and composite materials, and install plumbing fixtures.

Responsibilities include assembling and installing piping systems for water, steam, air and fluids, and supporting crews with material handling.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable experience preferred.
• Experience with piping systems and fixtures; knowledge of lengths and construction measurements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; able to work in adverse weather.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs piping and tubing systems for water, steam, air, and other fluids in buildings.
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage, and sewer lines from buildings to attachment point.
• Moves materials and equipment for plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters.
